Poor little kitty's kidneys were failing...that happens when you are an almost 16 year old cat. She was the Husband's cat and spend part of everyday in his lap. Naturally, he took it particularly hard. He couldn't stay with Kayla as she crossed over so I did. I wanted her to have someone telling her she was loved and that she was a good girl. sigh...

I'm so sorry. We lost my 15-year old cat a few years ago. In her case it was cancer, but we'd been treating her for kidney disease for a long time.
