 ...things are still going slowly. I am making progress on Little Red Fish, although I think I'll rename it Little Orange Fish. The bright color in this design is orange rather than red! It's either rename it or use some actual red, which won't go as well with this design.  The piece looks wonky because it's been in Q-Snaps for quite a while. It will straighten out when I press it.  ...it's been hard working on stuff this month. However, lately I've only been able to spend a couple of hours a day on crafts. Between monitoring mom and the remodel, the days just fly by!

 ...such as it is. I decided that I needed a project that I could pick up easily and put down quickly, if needed. I started spinning an Alpaca-Merino-Firestar-Bamboo blends from Ranch of the Oaks. This is good because they started demo on the second bathroom on Monday! The kitchen is progressing, but we still don't have windows. Hopefully, this week.  ...and the remodeling chaos continues. Craft time is hit-and-miss. Some days there is no craft time and other days, I can get a few hours of uninterrupted craft time. One of the things I spend a little time with is the Ocean Ripples Wrap [ Ravelry ]. I haven't gotten very far, but I'm enjoying it. Plus it's easy to pick up and put down.  ...too much going on in my life to post on a regular basis, much less do crafts. The one thing that's throwing things off (in a good way) is our remodel. No matter that we did not leave the packing to the end, there are still a lot of things to consider when remodeling a kitchen that has not had a full remodel since it was built in 1969. One of the issues is establishing a cat-friendly zone.  I got the last of the things out of the kitchen on Tuesday night. They started demo yesterday. We're still tweaking the cat-friendly zone. The cats do tend to worm into the smallest spaces that they shouldn't go! And, of course, they climb all over the boxes that we've packed up.
