 ...it's been a rainy week, making it challenging to get photos of the garden. Some of our bulbs are starting to bloom. This week, we found this daffodil in the backyard: There are more daffodils to come and a few tulips. I can't wait to see what they look like!

 ...I spent the week bouncing between projects. No photos this week. WIPs Roll Call Worked On: Brighter Day quilt (quilting) I'm not happy with a couple of fabrics in the blocks. I went to through the stash to pick alternate fabrics. Finishing work Sewed the ends of the pillows and made cording for the edges.  Mom's cookbook (cooking)  Entered a few more recipes to the program. Sea Merchant's Wife (cross stitch) Finished the lower part of the design. Flipped the canvas and pattern and started working on the upper portion of the design.  ...another week just whipped by. The garden is starting to get some color. The nasturtiums are popping up all over, as are the freesias. The apricot tree is setting blossoms. And our new camellia is blooming.

...making progress. I completed sewing together the blocks for the Harding Cats quilt. I am considering adding a wider border in a lighter colored cat fabric. The top is pretty big right now, but I think it might benefits from the contrast of the lighter fabric.
