- I did my annual Hallmark Open House visit and purchased the Star Trek USS Enterprise metal ornament that was released in October. I think I'm going to need a bigger tree for these ornaments soon!
- I finished the Secret Project! I assembled all the various components and ready to mail. Then I realized that the box I picked up from the Post Office wasn't quite big enough. I made a quick stop at a Post Office on my way to work and got a larger box. I packaged everything in it and printed the postage. All I had to do on my way home was drop the box into the package slot at the same Post Office. One it is received, I can show you photos of the things I made.
- There were a couple of components that needed a little thought, so I started spinning another Stitches West purchase while I decided what to do. I started Envy [Ravelry], a Merino/Tussah silk/Black Welsh fiber from Homestead Hobbyist. The colorway's original name is Seven Deadly Sins: Envy. I like that it has sparkles in it, a nice change from the last spin.
- Saturday night, I went through a large box from storage that held some old specs and documentation from 1981-82 and from 1991-93. I have no idea how it ended up in storage as it should have been recycled long ago. This one box resulted in a handful of keepers, 2 bankers boxes of recycling, and 4 or 5 binders empty binders.
- I spent a little time fixing an error in the Charred Teal Shawl [Ravelry]. I swear, there are some projects that are doomed throughout. I have lost count of the number of times I've had to rip out rows and reknit them because the count was off. Sigh. Someday, I'll finish this puppy and move on to something that's easier to knit.
