How is it Thursday...

...it's seems like yesterday was Monday! The week has flown by!

Time for some catch-up and a WIP recap.
  1. I met up with a friend for Craft Coffee on Monday. She moved out of the area a couple of years ago, and was in town for a few days. It was nice catching up!
  2. Spin-In was Saturday and I finished spinning the singles for Arcade [Ravelry].
  3. I spent a lot of time during the weekend rearranging furniture in my studio. I'm trying to figure out how to make room for my computers without sacrificing too much floor space. I definitely need a desktop and possibly a new cube unit to shift things around.
  4. In the process of moving things around, I went through all of my quilting, knitting, and stitching books. I culled out a banker's box worth of books that I will never use, which freed up a shelf to use for my project binders.
  5. Work has been busy, which is both a pain and a joy. The joy part is that it's busy because we're trying to figure out who's going to do my job when I retire at the end of the year! Yay!

Throw in some early preparation for open enrollment, and my work day flies by!
  6. I got a new Windows laptop and I'm in the process of setting it up. The plan is to have it run my cross stitch software and some other desktop publishing software. Then I can get back to the designs that I started years ago and have not had time to finish.
  7. I know this doesn't sound like a lot for the last week, but each one of these is time-consuming!
Oh and I finally took photos of the finished hat. This is Cozy Red Hat 2 [Ravelry]:
